FINTRY
Fintry is a small village situated in a beautiful secluded valley surrounded by hills. It is conveniently situated at the centre of a triangle made by Loch Lomond, Stirling and Glasgow. Edinburgh and Perth too can be comfortably reached in under an hour. It serves as an ideal base for exploring Central Scotland and the Southern Highlands. There is a local Sports Club which offers facilities for visitors
We are on the doorstep of the Trossachs (Rob Roy country) and the newly created Loch Lomond National Park. Even the majestic Glencoe is less than 2 hours away.

The nearest are at Stirling, Clackmannan, Perthshire and Glencoe
SHOPPING & EATING OUT
Fintry only has a small shop run from the sports club but it has long opening hours, and there is a choice of small supermarkets all within 15 minutes drive.
Lomond Organics operate a delivery service and will deliver organic fruit and vegetables to your cottage in time for your arrival. reports so far are favourable
Tesco will also deliver to us.
Stirling has good shopping facilities. Glasgow has the best shopping in Scotland.
We are also lucky to have a good variety of restaurants and pubs within easy reach and which will cater for all tastes and pockets! These include two Michelin Good Pub award winners - The Inn at Kippen and the Black Bull Killearn
